About

Isaman design, Inc. is a full-service Architecture firm based in San Luis Obispo, California, and licensed to work in California, Nevada, and Hawaii. With over 30 years of experience, architect Bill Isaman and the firm work on various projects, ranging from custom residential and commercial mixed-use spaces to winery architectural design.

Approach

With the honest approach of putting the clients and their needs first, Isaman design aims to produce thoughtfully designed spaces that cater to a variety of budgets and aesthetic preferences.  With the philosophy that good design does not mean adhering to any one specific style, the team focuses on examining financial, environmental and client specific considerations with each project.

The Team

Bill Isaman

Bill loves his job as an architect and feels fortunate to work and live in beautiful San Luis Obispo, Ca. Bill grew up in construction, framing custom homes for his father’s General Contracting business – it was at that time when Bill was introduced to architecture. Though he enjoyed the challenges of building, the idea of designing structures was much more intriguing. He studied and graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, School of Architecture and Environmental Design in 1998. After working for a large architecture firm for many years, Bill decided to open his own practice in 2006.

Bill has two boys, Will and Joe, and loves spending time on the baseball and football fields with them as much as possible. He and his wife Kelly enjoy traveling and enjoying the “SLO life” with a tall glass of wine.
